Recently, India has placed a duty on import of all sorts of goods especially when it comes to Gold. However, there is a limit that needs to keep in mind while doing shopping in Dubai, note that if the gold reaches above the threshold limit then you will have to pay the certain amount which is decided accordingly at that very time as custom tax at Indian airport .
The current import duty on gold jewelry is INR 10,000 for men and 20,000 INR for the woman.
