New Year is going to kick off with a typical Dubai fashion with a big bang – expect fireworks across different neighborhoods in Dubai such as  Palm Jumeirah or Bur Dubai / Deira corniche to heart of central Dubai’s very own BURJ KHALIFA (downtown Dubai) - every place and building will lit-up to welcome the 2015 on the eve of December 31st 2014. Fireworks at Burj Khalifa -Â Downtown Dubai
Just like previous years, downtown Dubai is the place to be in to enjoy the new year festivities. Many events will take place in downtown dubai including sound shows and fountain dances with fire and lights. And most importantly burj khalifa fireworks.
Event Date: 31 December 2014
Event Time: starts late evening around 8:00 pm onwards
Note: The traffic will be blocked after 5:00 pm so kindly reach downtown before sunset.
Fireworks at Burj Al Arab
There will be number of events held by Jumeirah hospitality  group in and around Burj Al Arab area. You can see the fireworks with a clear view from black beach, umm suqeim beach and park, jumeirah beach park and any area on jumeirah road. Make sure to increase your patience skills as the roads will be blocked after 11:00 pm on 31st in anticipation of nye fireworks
Pyrotechnics at Palm Jumeirah
As usual Atlantis will also  put up a great show of fireworks, however, the best way to enjoy those fireworks is to make sure that you are in the vicinity of Atlantis such as attend New year  party hosted by Nasimi beach. Also, there will be a traffic pile up after 10:00 pm so reach there early in order not to ruin your new year eve experience.
Fireworks at other places
Bab al shams and few hotels in Dubai marina will also light the sky with amazing fireworks but their event details are not confirmed yet, we will keep you posted on this.
