Nokia Lumia 800 is one of the latest yet to come smartphone running on Windows Mobile operating System (Mango). Nokia 800 will be the first smartphone by Nokia with Windows mobile OS. This move was taken when Nokia announced its future plans to slowly shift from Symbain OS to windows based mobile operating system. Though the platform is not open source yet the tools for developing the applications for such device are free thereby in future there is lot of apps expected to be launched in Windows mobile software market.

Nokia Lumia was announced and revealed on October 2011 and was launched in UK on November 2011. As of now this smartphone comes with signed contract with data package with any of the Nokia telecom partners. The release date for Nokia Lumia 800 in UAE and Dubai is not confirmed but as per rumors it will be available to UAE market during holiday season and most likely only under / via the contract of Du or Etisalat (local telecom operators in UAE).
