HTC Desire is the smartphone developed by HTC Corporation as a Predecessor to HTC Legend. The smartphone was launched in UAE / Dubai in 2010 and got a positive feedback among android fans. Â The form factor and hardware is almost similar to the Google Nexus phone. Initially HTC Desire in Dubai was launched with Android 2.1 (device with this operating system is also referred as Bravo) which was then updated to Android 2.2 (referred as Froyo). As of June 2011, HTC has launched an update for all the HTC Desire Smartphones to Android 2.3 (Gingerbird) which is the fastest Google operating system as of now.
