Deira International School also abbreviated as DIS Dubai is one of the famous schools in southern Dubai. The curriculum followed by DIS Dubai is “National Curriculum of England and Wales†which is further enhanced by adding some bits and pieces of international education particularly the IBO (International Baccalaureate Organization).
Deira International School was founded in 2005 in Al Futtaim developed community of Dubai Festical City. The location of the school is very strategic as it lies close to Deira, Marjan Residence and Northern Dubai (Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, Bur Dubai etc). DIS consist of massive sports field – a gymnasium, swimming pool, workshops and art libraries, music centres, big cafeteria and one of the top most recognized science laboratories.
